Levels A1, A2, B1, B2, have been described below according to Annemerie Schimmel Haus designed courses.
BEGINNERS’ LEVEL COURSES:
Level A1:
Course duration: approx. 8-10 weeks. Class Duration :1.5 hour Class Days: Monday to Friday
Can understand and use familiar, everyday expressions and very simple sentences. Can introduce him/herself and others as well as ask others about themselves. This exam following this A1 level is mandatory when applying for the family reunion visa at the German Embassy Islamabad and even sometimes for Master prorames in some Public Universities
.Level A2:
Course duration: approx. 8-10 weeks. Class Duration : 1.5 hour Class Days: Monday to Friday
Can understand sentences and commonly used expressions associated with topics directly related to his/her direct circumstances. Can use a good range of Grammer and Vocabulary
ADVANCED LEVEL COURSES:
Level B1:
Course duration: approx. 12 weeks. Class Duration: 2 hours Class Days : Monday to Friday
Can understand the main points when clear, standard language is used and the focus is on familiar topics associated with work, school, leisure time, etc. Can deal with most situations typically encountered when travelling in the language’s region.
Level B2:
Course duration: approx. 14 weeks. Class Duration: 2 hours. Class Days: Monday to Friday Can understand the main contents of complex texts on concrete and abstract topics. Can communicate so spontaneously and fluently that a normal conversation with native speakers is easily possible without a great deal of effort on either side.
